Linda’s Tjukurrupa (Dreamtime Totem) is the Ngamanpurru – bush raisin – which she also refers to as bush lollies.
As a result, the grevillia in particular plays a very important role in her life as it is the source of her Dreaming.
This painting is a beautiful example of Linda’s innate sense of colour and design representing the rockholes and rockhills after good rain which are filled with bush tucker and ‘bush lollies’ – especially from the grevillia which is the main centrepiece of the painting.
